Koinon IT Portals

Koinon (from ancient Greek community, commonwealth, or federation) is a portal for the digitalization of administrative processes at schools such as teaching loads, teaching evaluations, theses management, external teaching assignments, etc.
A team of developers takes care of the continuous expansion, improvement, and support of the functions offered. Communication with schools to understand needs and help streamline and digitalize processes is continuous.

Projectmanagement with OpenProject

Zum Projektmanagement für Forschungsprojekte und die allgemeine Verwaltung wurden bisher eine Vielzahl an dezentralen Tools an der TUM genutzt. Zur Sicherstellung eines einheitlichen Projektmanagements wurde nun mit OpenProject eine zentral unterstützte Lösung für alle TUM-Mitglieder eingeführt.

Since January 2024, TUM has started its SAP S4/HANA transformation. This is not just an upgrade but the redesign of all administrative processes at TUM. Employees can learn about the project status in our wiki (TUM login required).
